i've now wrapped up my eight week stregth training program. i definetly am stronger, which is what my aim was. i don't really care if i'm wripped/cut but i do want to continue getting stronger. i feel that i should take a week off to let my body rest but what should i do to continually get stronger? should i re-start the program? i'm curious as to whether or not by body somewhat got used to the 12,8,6,4 set routine after 8 weeks so i think it needs a change. any thoughts?

You can simply modify your routine you just finished for another 8 weeks. This will provide a new stimulus and differnt angle for the muscles, while getting you stronger yet. For instance if you were doing flat bb bench, switch this one up to dumbbells. Keep the rep range from the 5-8 range, heavy weights, best for mass. Of course quality diet will elicit the most from your lifting.
