hello I am new to the group and I am need of some help:surprised: I have 3 children ages 7,2 and 1 and i am done with having babies and ready to lose some weight now!!
I am 5'8 and I weigh 225 lbs I think it may be alittle less. This week I started walking 1-2 miles a day and trying to cut back on calories as much as possible.
I am not the smartest when it comes to health and nutrition so this is where you come in. I need help learning what is good and what is not.
One of my main questions is...Is this walking every night going to help? I need to know where my target heart rate should be I guess to know.
Well thats alittle about me sorry so long:)

Welcome to FT!
Walking is good, for a start. Look at the programs here on FT, they are very good and will fit your needs. If you have any questions, use "Fitbuddy" at the bottom of the page. If you don't find what you need, post it.
Good luck!

Welcome!
You're in the same place I was when I visited this site...I knew absolutely nothing about health and nutrition. Hang around and read all you can and soak up the wealth of information on this site and you're bound to learn enough to change your life. The only thing we can't do is make you commit to a change. That is up to you...and we'll help motivate you and support you. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.
