OK just for my need to know.....when you compete in powerlifting......what is the depth they are looking for.

I know its sligthing below parallel.....I read somwhere but must come below knees.....or somthing?

front of your leg: the upper portion of your thigh must be lower than the lower portion (your knee). but coming below knees is just an explanation. I believe most judges focus on the thigh.

that's about right, i was told once that a good trick was to use knee wraps and wrap them so that the extra part is sticking up, above the knees when bent. That way as long as you get down deep alot of judges will just assume that you went down a little further and could be the difference between a good lift and a bad one.

that doesn't sem like a good way to judge, I have a 32in quad.....my as would almost be on the ground, before my quad got lower than my knee.

maybe i phrased that wrong. Basicly the top portion of your quad has to be lower than the bottom portion. The middle is usually up a little higher because of greater hypertrophy.
