I am really new at this so bare with me. I am not wanting to do this for me but for my family. I am a 22yr Old male weighing in at 240 and I would really love to shed a few pounds. My long term goal is to reach 175 or 180 but I know it will take time. Anyway I hope to meet some of you and maybe get some good pointers on how to achieve my goals.
Matt - it is okay to do this for yourself! It is great that you want to be healthier for your family's sake, but you need to feel that you are important enough to be taken care of.
Pick a program under exercise programs that suits your situation and spend some time looking at the FAQs and nutrition forum. If you can't find info you need - just ask and usually people will be very helpful!
