This is very sensitive to me but I have nowhere else to turn and everyone on here seems to be very helpful from what I have read. I have been on and off this site for the past 6 months and need assistance with a delicate matter.

I started working out about six months ago and noticed recently that I have acquired a certain odor in my private area. I notice anytime I sweat and workout it the smell increases. This is quite embarrassing for me and I am not sure what I can do to get rid of it.

Has anyone else had this issue before? Or am I am the only one. I feel so alone because I don't know who I can trust to discuss this with, without them using it as couch potatoe talk.

I also noticed that after I have intercourse it has a really fishy smell.

Please help!!!

Sounds like a yeast infection common to most of us...even more so if you are heavy...go to your doc!

Yep, mutt is right. That is the most common issue. There could be other issues surrounding it as well, I will send you a private message if you would like to discuss it further.

We are here to help.:)

What you are describing sounds like an infection called Bacterial vaginosis, which isn't strictly speaking a yeast infection. It is NOT a sexually transmitted infection, and is easily treated with antibiotics - so get yourself along to your doctor.

Good luck

i suggest u seek ur doc asap cos if its a bacterial infection(specially E.coli), it may spread upwards to ur kidneys and cause pyelonephritis or something more serious!
