Hello everybody. I'm new to this site. I just signed up out of frustration with myself. I am a 27 year old man recently departed from the military, it's been about a year and a half. I used to be in very good physical shape, lots of cardio and lots of weights. The problem is that I havent done much to work out since I got out of the military. For the past year or so I've been telling myself that "I'm not getting bigger, just a little out of shape". All the while I've been sucking in my stomach and squeezing into my pants. Those pants, by the way, keep shrinking...

Coming out of the shower this evening it hit me...I am not just a little out of shape. Not just starting to lose my physique...It was gone completely and I am entirely out of shape. This is a new problem for me. I've always been a thin guy that had to work out to gain weight, not to mention load up on protein and weight gain shakes.

Now here I am. At the opposite side of the spectrum, and I dont know what to do. I dont know how to work out to lose this much fat and also lift weights to start getting some muscle tone and strength back.

Does anyone have a work out that could help?

it is that simple! it will take time, lots of time, but it is worth it!

YO MAN i am 27 almost 28 and about to depart from the military myself, it is hard because we are not the people we see in pics from like 3-5 years ago.

but just because we are in the military does not mean we have to be like perfect specimen from the muscle factory.

believe me you can do it.

it just takes will power that we seem to loose somewhere between 25 and 28 because we figure

"hey 30 is right there i don't care anymore!" but it is the wrong attitude.

i got it too and am trying hard as hell to get rid of it.

just get in the mode again, and decide that you are your first priority!!
