Well, lecter, at least it's a right pretty geezer with a good sense of humor. Welcome to the over 40 board and geezerdom in general.

Welcome to the world of the comfortable Leslie. You'll find it's easier to ignore the lecter's of the world as time goes by. :)

Age is a reletive thing! My mom is 68 (turns 69 this year) and she just returned from a scuba vacation where she did 13 dives in 2 weeks-and she only took up diving 2 years ago. She walks everyday and does Pilates once per week, roller blades and skis. She certainly doesn't look old. I swear she has more energy than I do, it's hard to keep up to her! Hope I've inherited her genes!!!

...So over 40....we're still just pups:big_smile:

Yep, age is relative. I just came back from Colorado, and we hiked up to Chasm Lake, which is situated in the bowl at the base of Longs peak, 14,000+ feet. Well, as we were going up, a lady was kind of merrily going down, and I stopeed and talked to her. She was 64, and just coming down from doing Longs Peak, which is 14.259', highest peak in the park! I was amazed, and then picked myself up and motored on up.

Hey mertlik1, welcome to FT. Congrats on your first 7 weeks. When your 8 weeks are up, take a week off, re-access your goals and pick another program and start again...the cycle never ends!
