How often should someone who is trying to lose fat/weight take their measurements?

2 weeks? 3 weeks? 4 weeks?

How about BF?
TIA! :)

Tia, really anytime you want but once a month will preserve your sanity. Same on BF. Monthly pictures will really be motivating if you can do it.

Good advice Charlie, if you do it too often, you might be disappointed in the fluctuation from week to week.

something more easy to do will be to take assessments in the mirror. see what parts you want to work on, where you want to lose it from, where you want to build, etc. and like charlie said, some people even take pictures to assess progress. the scale can be misleading, as you are losing body fat and building muscle, and can be a major discouragement. just focus on shaping your body the way you want.

Thanks everyone! I am definitly trying to get over that evil scale and focus on the way my body looks and how I feel.

I take weekly measurements and photos...I find it helps motivate me and I always do it at the same time of day for accuracy.
