Hi. I'm brand new at this sort of thing. I was just looking at the list of foods that are recommended to me, and for some of the values of fats/proteins, there is 'tr'. I can't seem to find out what this means. If you could let me know what this means and how this affects my eating plan/goals, I would much appreciate it. Thanx, Ange:)

If you're referring to what does trace mean, it means their is just a trace(extremely small amount) of protien, fat or carbs in the food. If you're counting grams of protien, fat or carbs and it says trace, just equate that to zero.
Hope this clears things up for you...and believe me, it's not the stupidest question ever!

You're welcome Ange84! Take some time to browse around the site and learn all you can about nutrition and exercise. There is tons of great info here. There is also great tool at the bottom of each page called fitbuddy which you can use to search a topic. If you can't find an answer, don't hesitate to ask questions.
Welcome to FT and good luck with your goals!
