Hello I am not really new to freetrainers, I have done about 3 or 4 programs, I read tons and tons of message boards and remain elusive. I usually get all of my answers out of them. However I have a problem I can't find a similar question to. Since I first started my program I have gained almost 11 pounds, I have started eating alot better than I have in years. My diet isn't perfect yet but it has gotten healthier. I recently measured myself because I noticed my pants are alot looser, however everywhere but my waist has gained!!! I don't know what the heck is going on, I haven't lost weight on the scale yet and now the inches are going up, I just don't know what is going on. Can someone please help!!!:)

sounds like you are adding lean muscle. dont worry so much about the scale.. it can be deceiving. if your body is changing the way you want it to, keep up your program :)

I know where your coming from danielle. I've been working out with weights steadily for 1.5 yrs and although my body has changed dramatically, the scale stills remains the same. I know it has changed because everyone comments that I've lost alot of weight-even though the scale says different and I've gone down a size in pants. Bropie is right on...don't use your scale as a judge. The fact that your pants feel looser gives more info than the scale ever will. Having said that, I have also found that diet is also key in "weightloss" and you have to be vigilant about it to really loose weight. Try and re-evaluate what you're eating and see if there room for improvement. Keep up with what your doing and good luck!!
