I had read in the past a post from you on insulin spiking. I wrote all of the info down and have misplaced it. I ordered the maltodextrin and dextrose from vitaglo.com. It came yesterday.
Can you help me with this. It's for my husband who is 225 pounds.
I remember half body weight between the two, mixed with maybe 1/4 protein?
How and when?
Can you advise?

So, would it be 112 malto/dextrose meaning 60 malto, 60dextrose? Then 75 protein?
Or less, since I don't know his bf %?

i think its dependent on your goal

if you want to cut, its 1/4 your bodyweight in protein, 1/8 in malto, and 1/8 in dextrose

if you want to gain, its 1/2 your bodyweight in protein, 1/4 in malto, and 1/4 in dextrose

take this immediately after a workout.. chug half, and sip the other half for awhile. eat a meal about 45 mins - an hour after you workout, so have it done sometime within that span.

I swear I read just the oposite. To gain would be 1/2 body weight in malto and dextro split
and 1/4 body weight in protein.
