Hi all-
Just wanted to post to say what a GREAT site this is. I have been working out for one week so far, and although a little sore, I have never felt so motivated to work out!
I gained 40 pounds after my Dad's death a few years ago and have been fighting to lose it ALL. I managed to lose 20 by jogging and being a little more careful about my diet but now I am struggling to keep from gaining again.
Krista Schaus your advice has been a huge help, and eye opening to me. Thanks to everyone who posts such wonderful info on the boards. Good luck and happy training to evewryone here.

Hi there! I suppose if you're feeling motivated, then that is a massive step forward already. Keep it up, and good luck!

I'm new here too. I don't have a picture yet because I have refused to take any. I had a baby 5 months ago and I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before I had him. It is so depressing.
I have recently joined a gym but I don't know how to workout or what to do exactly. I've moved around this site quite a bit before posting this and I must say that so far, I am impressed.

Welcome to Freetrainers Felecia877. Talk to a floor person at the gym or create your own program on here, and just bring it with you to the gym The instructions are very good with the exercises provided. Good Luck and Congratulations on the little boy!
