I currently drink at least 1 gallon of water a day. I always thought that water would give you the full feeling. Should you drink while you eat or does it not matter. It seems that no matter how much I eat I am always hungry. I am on the weight watcher plan for maintence but im always hungry. Can anyone help?

How many calories are you restricting your self too? If you are not eating enough then you will be starving your self and you will not get the results you are looking for. I drink water with every meal and yes it does help with feeling satisfied. That is the key you have to train your self to stop eating when you feel satisfied not stuffed. If you feel really stuffed then you are eating too much in one meal. The best thing to do is to spread your meals out during the day.

Try to eat every three hours and make sure that you consume foods that have protein and complex carbs. Protein will keep your blood sugar at a steady level instead of spiking and dropping. Complex carbs also do that. foods high in fiber slow digestion to make you feel fuller longer. I actually drink citrucel before lunch and dinner to help slow digestion.
