I have been taking Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein for a while. I have had success building muscle with this. I am wondering if I should consider some other types of protein for longer absorption. I have trouble getting all the protein that I need without the supplements.

Also, I read an old post from bb1fit that seemed to say that protein should not be taken on an empty stomach b/c it will no go toward muscle. Can anyone give me the correct underrstanding of this or direct me to an article?

I have heard that there are protein mixtures that supposedly give a mixture of protein types for different absorptions (Pro-Complex?). Is this effective or worth the money? Thanks.

How much protein are you taking in a day? People used to tell me you need about 2g per lb you weigh, but that was just ridiculous. Make sure you take in 3 part carbs to 1 part protein too.

I use this site and I use this workout. Lots of good information that works and no lies like in most magazines.
