Our daughter is going to be 4 on Saturday. We won't be going to see her until next Sunday the 23rd, but even with a week to go I am freaking out cause I haven't found anything I like for her as a birthday present. Ideas please.....she's into the usual girly stuff...well and Ronald Weasley...she's gonna be him for Halloween lol/

Dfly! Good to "see" you. She always play with my hair when we visit, so I think that might be a very good idea. Would save my head too!

Thats a great idea too.....I remember when my mom and I used to go to Value Village, and we got my play dresses from the womens night gown section. It was always a hunt for which nightgown would turn me into a princess. I think I might have to go to Value Village on saturday and see what kind of pretty princess nighties they have!

Lol...I would do that, but since I'm not the one that would have to listen to it, I'd rather not.

cristal, you wouldn't happen to be located in Washington State are you? I haven't heard Value Village in a long time...lol
My daughters loved playing mommy too, so i got them a baby doll, with the works (clothes, burp bibs, blankies, bottles, cloth diapers, etc) at the local thrift store along with a stroller you can get for 10 bucks at any department store. You'd be amazed at how much they perform just like us mommies. Even when the no's and shaking of our fingers come into play....lol Good Luck! -------------- Bettia.... Ravenbeauty I'm in Oregon. Our daughter is in Washington though. I really think thats gonna be how we go.....getting a TON of stuff for her for the price of 1 thing...well that just seems better for both.
Funny story about the acting like a mommy thing...JoJo and her a-parents had come to visit us, and JoJo was just enthralled with my sister in laws new baby. When they got back home to WA, she made Rick(a-dad) pretend to be baby Peirce so she could mommy him. Way too cute! |

Sad thing is, my husband doesn't like any of the ideas all of us have come up with. I should have known not to even try. He always finds that absolute BEST presents for her, with hardly expending any energy. And she loves them. She loves him....in fact, every little girl he meets just goes gaga over him. So I think it's not so much the present itself, but that HE is giving it to her.
