Good website. I am 29, and have lifted weights consistently for over 10 years. I am into it now, more than ever. I love working out. I have a good selection of weight--adjustable bench, curl bar, straight bar, dumbbells, etc. I pretty much always stay near the same weight, 158. I walk/run every single morning. I follow a good diet plan, and have for years.

Here is my problem. I have seen good progress this year with my muscles. they are bigger, and more cut. Since this has happened, I have more of a desire to lose body fat, so they will show even more. My waist is 33.5 inches, so I don't have a ton of body fat at all. I am estimating 13-14 percent right now. Any fat I have is in my middle.

It is hard to lose weight (by eating nothing), and still lift hard. I drink lots of milk. I have used whey, but I tend to feel bloated and always stop using it. People tell me I probably need to eat more, and more often. Each day, I eat cereal for breakfast, then a turkey sandwhich, yogurt, pretzels and granola bar for lunch. Banana at 3:00, then for dinner, usually pasta or maybe hot dogs or a baked potato. That is about it. And I drink LOTS of water.

ANY suggestions? I want to get leaner than ever, because i have gained some good muscle. HELP!!

Sounds like you need to re-evaluate your diet. Looks like your taking in mostly carbs and not much protien. Check out the nutrition forum on this site as well as filling out a nutritional profile and try tweaking your diet. Check out the grocery list for healthy living in the nutrition forum (thumbtacked at the top) and you'll see what foods you should be including in your diet. BTW where are your veggies???

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

thanks. I think you may be right. In college, I could bench near 300. But that is back when I could eat whatever and not get fat. I need more veggies, too, I know.
