I have a strained ligament stemming from a long bike ride four months ago. It's still not healed but I'm persuing PT and accupuncture and I'm on anti-inflammatories. What can I do for cardio????? I'm turning into the blob! Trying to decrease my calories, but a girl's gotta eat! I can't swim because the resistence of the water while I kick hurts! I'm trying to be good and not do anything that hurts! What now?????
I think you need to see a specialist if it is still bad after 4 months. There could be further injuries that you just don't know about. As far as cardio, there isn't really much you can do unless you get one of those bikes you pedal with your hands or something. Like bropie says, it needs to heal in order to repair.
