I am 15 years old and I am trying to lose weight and then get buff. I am just wondering about supplement usage and the age limits on them. It says to use Hydroxycut, but the age limit is 18. So is there a supplement that I can take and not have to worry about side affects, or ones that my parents won't worry about me taking?
Any help appreciated.

whey protein and a solid multivitamin is all you really need at your age.

Hey there, i'm also 15! It depends on how serious you are, I take my body very seriously and have used creatine, Animal stak, proteins, ZMA, Tribulis all with GREAT effect and no side effects, but maybe i'm just lucky! I can't tell you supps for our age is safe because there has been no research done, just as people cant say it is bad for you for obviously the same reason.
As to whey protein and multi vit, thats not what you looking for! First take a look at your diet to lose weight, maybe if you post your current diet I'm sure soemeone such ass bb1fit will help you improve, also do some cardio at least an hour a day in the gym!! Once you lose some weight and wanna start bulkiing you can start to look at some supps such as creatine!
Hope this helps!!

willbert you are correct. getting diet under control is probably the most important aspect of losing weight. cardio can be added to a solid weight training weight regime to increase a caloric deficit, and subsequently burn more calories. the deal with losing weight is to take in less calories than you need to maintain muscle growth and your body sytems, but to not overdo it. if you keep the deficit minimal, you cvan burn fat and spare muscle. if its a huge deficit, expect muscle loss.
with regards to your supp recommendations, i have to disagree. protein has been proven to increase fat burn, and a shake after your workout is probably the best thing you can do for your body. a multivitamin ensures you are getting all your nutrients for the day, especially if you are on a restricted diet. as for creatine, its just a waste of money at your age. your body is naturally producing more than enough, so anything added is just going to get excreted by your body. i have to run right now, but im going to address the other issues when i get back.

Okay sorry bropie I agree that a multi vit is essential and a shake is good, just make sure it doesn't have too many carbs in stick to a protein shake.
One question I am Not sure about this but I don't think my body produces more creatine than anyone else I know that our hormone and testosterone levels are high but are you sure about creatine? Remember creatine gives ATP to your muscles that they need as a energy source? It probably depends on what you do but I spend at least 4-5 hours on sport each day including gym and it has definetly improved how I go through the day!
