I just got some 99% fat free yogurt from costco and was really excited because i love yogurt. I get home and see that it has 40g of sugar!! WTF.
Does anybody know of some good low fat yogurt (flavored) that has less sugar?

They gotta do somthing to that low fat stuff to make it edible. I gave up on low fat a long time ago.

You can get tons of LF yogurt with artificial sweetner. Personally, I just get plain yogurt, usually 1%, and add my own berries and some vanilla extract and maybe some chopped almonds. You could even add a bit of honey, at least your controlling the amount of sugar.
-------------- Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

There are some yogurts out and about that use splenda. I spend quite a bit of time each week searching them out. They never seem to be in the same place . They ARE available though, you just have to look really, really hard for them. I could care less about low fat or non-fat... for me it's all about limiting that sugar. Good luck!

I steer towards the "low fat" and not the "non fat" as I find it is a nice compromise....The type I tend to go for is natually sweetened with honey...which is the healthiest of sweeteners...It contains vitamins B1, B2, C, B6, B5 and B3....see www.bees-online.com/HealthBenefitsOfHoney.htm for an interesting read on it

The frozen berries work great. I just throw them in the microwave to thaw them, which also results in lots of extra "berry juice". Works great in cottage cheese as well.

The yogurt cups made by Blue Bunny are sweetened with splenda. I eat these all the time and like them very well. They are the Lite 85 and Carb Freedom yogurt cups, each one is only 80 or 90 calories. I actually like the Carb Freedom one better they also have more protein. I also buy plain yogurt by the quart and flavor it with splenda and add vanilla flavor or other flavorings or even mix in some cottage cheese with some splenda and vanilla.
