Oh yes, I have the same problem... I don’t have access to equipment.. I hate running, and I'm usually up in the wee hours of the night... but I jump rope, between each set, and that really gets your heart pumpin! Hope that helps :D

I have a mini-trampoline... about the only thing I do on it at this point is jogging on the spot (easy on the knees) but there is a wack you can do with it.

hi, i just joined this place looking to improve my body health and because i can't stand looking at my belly anymore. :)

as far as your question goes, this would be helpful for me too. i'm an IT student that doesn't go out the house much, other than work. so i would really like to know a way of doing cardio exercises in my own home.

i was thinking about getting a jump rope, as i remember how great it made me feel after a good workout in high school.. it sure can make your heart start pumping, and you can do it at home, assuming you have a high enough roof. :D i'm not sure, but can this be considered as a cardio exercise?

thanks..

I dance. As funny as that might sound and as funny the image of a 267# guy bee boppin' aroung the living room might be, it works! In the last week I have lost 3lbs. watching what I eat, drinking tons of water and dancing. That's all I have for now. I don't have the finances to buy equipment. I do 45 mins. non stop. This might not work forever, but it will get me moving and burning calories.

I just completed 70 years, I am at the Club by 5 AM and star Dancing Salsa for about 15 minutes and I do streching and ab work for 30 minutes then finish with Salsa the last 15 minutes of My Arobics before I go to workout the Machines and Free Weights for a couple of hours and  and go back upstairs and tried to do Jump Rope for a few minutes. ( stop when I hit my head with the rope to much) dance Salsa for a couple of songs and finish with 6 or so laps of Swimming. ( I do not know why I can't do more??), 4 times a Week.
I seem not to be able to Master the Jump Rope yet!!!!!
