Hi all. I am doing a 13 week training program and was just wondering what everyone's take on my choice to do Atkins also, just until I lose 25lbs. See if I ate the bodybuilding way I would have to cut my calories back to 1,600cl a day to lose the same amount of weight (in the same time period) as Atkins. I now eat about 2,600. I was thinking of sticking with Atkins and after losing 25lbs (again should take about 6-8weeks) slowely increasing my carbs? One things I should note is I have a low tolerence for carbs in the first place...never really ate them and it's because I started eating them (and then couldn't stop) that I gained 30lbs. If I slowely increase my carbs after the weight loss, I will find my threshold of carbs which can be a good thing to know. Also I think I have enough muscle from the working out now--that if I lose some in the next 2 months, I can easily rebuilt... what about eating alot of protein (?)---won't that keep my muscle strong?
