I know it sounds silly... I'm trying to pick up weight (muscle weight). I 5"9 low 150's and its really tought for me to gain weight. The only time I've gained weight was when I was drinking a ton of beer every weekend. I dont want to do that obviously, I'm just wondering if it would hurt to drink a carmel mocha frap from startbucks every once in a while? I know its not gonna go to my belly, so why not add some quick calories along with my normal healthy eating?

I would thing you'd want to keep your diet as clean as possible! However, if your looking for a "cheat" Starbucks has a "Light" version of their Carmel Frap:

Caramel Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee - 140 calories 1.5g fat, 28 carbs, 2g fiber, 21g sugar, 5g protein

I think the regular ones have about 600 calories, 17g fat and 95 carbs.

I think if your trying to "bulk up" you'd want to pick high protien, but still lean sources....just my 2 cents-or less, since I'm in Canada.:)

Shap the answer is NO....you may cheat occassionally with junk or unhealthy foods once in a while but not consistantly...instead use healthy choices....if you sat down and searched the net for ideas you can find a million healthy ideas....try to eat 6-8 small meals..which includes snacks and you'll be fine....lets say 3 main meals and then 3-4 snacks, protein shake, yogurt, nuts, dried fruits, etc..many things u can it...no need to eat crap...because after a while it will take its toll on you I can promise you that much...
