Hacks or front squats are a good addition. We have 2 types of hack squat machines in our gym, and I for instance rotate my use of them. One is the normal, slightly angled plate loaded type. The other is a prone machine, where you basically are on your back, and it has a stack of weight. It has foot positions upper and lower. In fact, this leads me to another point. Even on barbell squats, varying your foot positon can make a huge difference in where and how the exercise hits the legs/glutes/hams.
