Ok I decided to swap my ungodly HUGE computer desk for an armoire to free up some space. So I call up a friend of mine that just happens to brag CONSTANTLY about how much he lifts at the gym to give me a hand moving this desk. Keep in mind I own a moonbounce business so I have hand trucks, heavy duty carts, you name it on hand. He tells me that he isn't sure we could handle it on our own and that I should wait until we could get 4-6 guys to move it. Tell me something? Has anyone come across this behavior? I tend to come across it alot actually. Strong in the gym, and mentally weak outside of it. Anyway to sum it up, I put the desk on a hand truck by myself, and wheeled it out the door because I was soo pissed. Whether it's concrete bags, moonbounce deliveries, or just about any physically intensive outside of the gym lifting I find that some of the strongest gym weight lifters are just plain worthless in the real world. Anyway, just a general rant.

Yes it is because lifting fixed weights is actually easier then awkward objects.

it's frustrating just because I rarely find something I can't move or figure out how to move with a few minor tools.
