what is better to do in order to loose weight and tone up?
Should i do a circuit training 3 days a week and cardio on the other days or should i do regular weight training one/two body parts a day(4 day split), cardio on the other days. For example

Monday legs
tues chest/tris
wednes cardio
thurs bis/back
fri shoulders

What if this is done with low weight and high reps. would this serve the same purpose as a ciruit training would. Even if i do this with no rest in between.

I just want to lose weight and tone up. alot of weight.

In my opinion I think you should focus on full body movements for your weight training days and not "splits". Do lunges, squats, dips, bench, rows, pull downs/pull ups, and other compound moves which I can't think of right now...and then add in a couple of isolated moves at the end of your workout-like bicept curls, tricept kickbacks etc. As far as circuits vs "just wts", I'd mix them up a bit and do a circuit once a week, maybe a higher rep lower wt once and then a heavy wt day. Do your cardio on your non wt day. Just my opinion:)
