Calories are one of the most important things to BUILD BUILD BUILD (quality helps ;) I am a firm beliver in Glutamine supplementation!!! (Cut and Paste) Glutamine plays a very important role in protein metabolism, and it appears to be a very important nutrient for body builders. When supplemented, it may help body builders reduce the amount of muscle deterioration that occurs because other tissues that need glutamine will not rob the glutamine stored in the muscle cells.

Lower cortisol levels in the muscles is such a beautiful thing!!! It is also said that Glutamine's has cell-volumizing effects. I personally havent experienced this.. BUT from a personal stand point I have experienced less soreness if not the first day (after) then the second. On my work out days I take 5 grams before and 15 grams after with a protein shake. I still take it on off days as well but only 5 grams additional. :)
