Unfortunately, I had to quit the gym (money issues) but I love this site!! I've been working out at home for about a month now. I really like it, but I'm having trouble working in the cardio. I live on the 2nd floor above my landlady. I was jumping rope and running in place and she has pretty much told me to knock it off. Is there any cardio that I can do on the 2nd floor and not get evicted? I was thinking of getting a mini trampoline thinking it would absorb shock and not "thump" downstairs? Any suggestions?

Another alternative would be bodyweight circuit training. There is a program out by Chris Ballantyne (i believe) called afterburn, if you would be interested. It is basicly calisthenics done at a fast pace, alternating between upper body and lower body exercises, with no rest in between sets.
Just an alternative.

Thanks for all the help!! I would like to go running, but I have asthma and whenever I've tried, I end up winded and a little stranded. I looked online for Afterburn. It sounds good, but I just can't find any information anywhere. Do you have any other clues?

I was right, it is ballantyne. However, the training progam he has out now goes by a different name. It sounds like propaganda, and the guy can be a little self promoting, but he knows his stuff, even if he does oversubscribe to one form of training...
