I'am planning to take creatine to give a boost to my workout but is ignorant about how to use it(whether to take it before or after workout and how many times)

Read the instructions. You will first go through a loading phase, which is usually 4 - 6 days depending on the brand. After the loading phase you will Then take it once a day. Be sure to cycle the stuff and drink lots of water. 4 weeks on 4 weeks off.

I take it three times a day. In the morning, after my workout and just before i go to bed.

Creatine usage is based on the type of creatine you're using and your bodyweight. Effervescent cratine which is the type that I'm using requires an empty stomach for quick deposition into the small intestine for uptake into the bloodstream and to be taken one hour before my workout. Post workout I take another 5 mg along with my glutamine. Maintenance doses is based on bodyweight less or greater than 225#'s. So research the type of creatine you're using.
