First off, welcome to FT. You are making a great step in the right direction! Please take a moment to check out the free exercise and nutritional programs here at FT! Secondly, make sure your approach to weight loss is healthy or you will most likely gain it back and then some. You would like to get to 180 pounds, right? An average weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week, the reason that is a "healthy" weight loss is due to the fact that you will need to take a 3,500 calories loss in that week to lose one pound, a 7,000 calories loss in that week to lose 2 pounds, etc. YET, you must maintain a level of calories that will keep your bodies energy requirements intact or you will risk losing muscle instead of fat and you will most likely feel weak and tired if you try to go beyond the recommended 1-2 pound loss a week. That is why many quit, because they try to loose too much by radical dieting and exercise rather than a patient approach that will award them with better results (not to mention often the skin may sag a bit with the faster weight loss).
So, with that in mind, you may want to reconsider your goals a bit, at a 2 lb weight loss in three months you would lose approx. 24 pounds --now that is not to say you won't lose more, the more you weigh the more calories you will burn, so in the beginning you may lose a bit more. Don't get frustrated with all these facts, just realize that there is more to losing weight than a quick fix or you may risk your health, muscle and more than likely end up right back where you are. It is a lifestyle change that requires nutrition and exercise that will keep you healthy. So many people want that "quick fix", but imagine what you do to your body when you do deplete your body of just the calories you take in? If you could look into your arm, you would see that your muscle has shrunk, along with the fat, rather than with good diet and exercise you could look and see your muscle has grown and your fat has decreased; a much better overall choice!

I would suggest some baby steps to get there, make your goals by the month maybe, and see how that goes, but remember you will need the energy to get through this and the energy comes from the calories you take in. Start by eating 4-6 smaller meals a day of good foods, lower in fat and less bad carbs, more good carbs. Drink plenty of water. Start a good exercise program combining cardio and weights.

Good luck to you, your goal isn't that far off, just don't do anything radical to keep it from being a healthy one!
