I was wondering if anyone knows some good info about rice, good or bad and why!

I always read to eat brown rice instead of white because your body processes it differently.

Brown rice is the best...tastes a little different and tend s to be a bit more gummier.
Brown because it is not refined and has greater fiber. More fiber means that insulin is better utilized to breakdown the carbohydrate.

rice is great source of carbs and calories and makes a good change in the diet. High fiber if you use brown rice and a lot more nutrients than white. I find that brown rice tends to be grainier and a bit more dry than white, less starch on the outside. But I love it with all the different meat sources of protein, tuna, chicken, etc.

I know it is good for you but, is it good to put in your diet 2-3 times a week as a main meal?

Clean source of carbs, low sodium, fills you up, easy to cook, tastes good, NO FAT.
