i know that you are supposed to eat right after your workout, but i take creatine immediately after i lift and i was wondering if that was sufficient enough or if i need to intake some protein on top of my creatine shake.

Take creatine pwo with a sugary drink. if taking protein wait 20-30 minutes then take it with a dextrin/dextrose carb.

Try muscle juice 2544. Each serving has 55 grams protein + 162 grams carbs. I take half the rec. serving has it is a lot of powder to take in one sitting. Mix in another protein to maintain the grams of protein. A cheap alternative is whey + dextrose but I can't stand the sweetness of dextrose myself.

I take half my protein/carb shake immediately after workout and slowly drink the other half over the next hour. I take my creatine and multi-vitamin about 15-20 minutes into that hour.
Roughly an 1.5 hrs after working out, I eat a meal with good proteins, carbs, etc.

Creatine by itself will do nothing much for repair/recovery. Protein is the building blocks of muscle, and you need to get protein in. Take your creatine pre workout if you like. I have become more of a fan of pre workout anyway, the increased blood pump from the workout should shuttle it to the muscles nicely.
CEE is actually the way to go now. Rapidly absorbed too with very little water retention.
