the only time that i have to work out is between 7-9 p.m., after my 10 month old goes to bed. is it better to work out in the morning or at night. also is 30 minutes of cardio enough if it is added with weight training?

They do say that morning is "best", but really, the best time to work out is when it is most convenient for you...that way you'll be able to stick with it!! So working out at night is absolutely fine. Ideally, if you can work out 5 days per week then do resistance training for 45min-1hr(incl warmup/cooldown) M,W,F and do 30min cardio T,Th. Make one of your cardio days HIIT (fitbuddy for definition) and the other cardio day do a steady pace. Always start your resistance training with a 5-10min warmup.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

It doesn't matter, in the grand scheme of things, when you work out. The important point is that you are.

How often is the cardio? Two or three times a week is good, but ensure it's at a different time from the weights... or better yet, different day.
