Guys,Being someone that has had trouble eating breakfast, ever since starting my program, I have been having trouble finding a variety of breakfasts to enjoy. Does anyone have any breakfast secrets that they can share that are packed with protein in them? |

I know same problem here.... I always go one day with tuna one day with eggs and sometimes oatmeal but I found out that after having oatmeal I get hungry very fast..... that`s why I stick with tuna and rice with lemon juice(to kill the smell)... it keeps me up for three hours no prob. |

Add some fruit to the oatmeal, add flavor and a little more substance. |

Hey fix some omelettes, 6eggs,no-fat cheese, salsa, veggies to taste. Try wrapping it up in a tortilla,Mex style. Speaking of Mex-how about some beans, rice;,etc. Oatmeal is great beside scrambled eggs, omelettes, add some raisins, touch of peanut butter, wheat germ, maybe some honey or molasses. Nice big glass of no-fat milk. If you make your own pancakes substitute some protein powder. The skys the limit. |

i always have six eggs and a cup of oatmeal, but i always tend to have the same problem when it comes to being hungery about an hour and a half later....i solved that problem though but bringing a protein bar and a piece of friut to class with me everyday...holds me over to i get back home so i can have some real food. If you are hungery every few hours, just eat....the reason you get hungery is because your body needs food....give her some fuel! |

You can add protein powder to oatmeal. Eggs are a good choice too. |

You don't have to eat breakfast foods for breakast but if you can't enjoy the day without starting it with breakfat foods the egg whites are the way to go |

Try egg white omelette and fruit and then some granola with some cut up potatoes. I always have a shake after my morning workout and then two more in the day. Protein bars are a good source of nutrition to tide you over. |

Hey there!Give these "flapjacks" a try ... take 6 egg whites, 1/2 c. no fat (or low fat) cottage cheese,1 capfull vanilla extract, 1/2 capfull almond extract and 1/2 cup rolled oats. Mix up in a blender for about 30 seconds and then cook like normal pancakes on a non-stick griddle. This recipe makes about 6 flapjacks depending on the size. I like to top mine with a no sugar added syrup, or a fruit sauce. They are a delicious alternative to oatmeal! Hope you enjoy. Lori |

I have the same problem when I am in college.I have 4 boiled eggs, 5 bananas, and a protein shake. Except the shake, I have everything ready, the last night. I also sometimes have bread with butter or cheese. Try and have things that do not need to be prepared. Milk is good too. |

To add protein I add a scoop of protein powder to my skim milk when I eat my grape nuts cereal. It's odd but coco grape nuts as I call them are not to bad lol.-------------- I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain |
