Some of my fav condiments for anything are:
Olive oil, I mix this with whatever I can, or cook with it. It is an EXCELLENT source of good fats. I aim for a table spoon a day.
Cayenne pepper- Excellent heart benefits, adds health and spice to any meal.
Minced garlic- Great for maintaining healthy blood pressure.
-------------- Iron and chalk.

I made a salad and topped it with chopped cilantro, chopped tomato and extra lean ground turkey seasoned with hot taco seasoning, then made a healthy salad dressing to go on top:
Good fat lime dressing
Tbsp flax oil
Tbsp lime juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
a few grinds of sea salt
1/4 tsp splenda
Mix and pour over salad! You get your good fats and some vitamin C.

I haven't tried these recipes - someone asked for a healthier Caesar salad, so i did a google search and these are some that I found. If you make the ones that have raw eggs in them be sure to use pasteurized eggs (they sell them at most groceries), pasteurized eggs are safe for consumption without cooking.
Healthy Caesar Salad
This is a healthy version of a popular salad that has lost favor due to the cholesterol factor. Instead, it is abundant in antioxidants, calcium and flavor. For a complete lunch you can add cooked chicken breasts and toss in salad.
Prep and Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 large head romaine lettuce, outer leaves removed & discarded
* (optional) 1/4 cup walnuts
Dressing:
2 TBS roasted tahini
1 2oz can anchovies, drained of oil, rinsed and chopped
4 medium cloves garlic, chopped
3 TBS lemon juice
2 TBS balsamic vinegar
2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
salt & cracked black pepper to taste
Directions:
Rinse lettuce, cut into bite size pieces, and dry. Try to get lettuce as dry as possible so dressing is not diluted. If you have a salad spinner it is best. Blend dressing ingredients together for 1-2 minutes, drizzling olive oil at end a little at a time. Toss romaine with desired amount of dressing and walnuts if using them. There will be dressing left over. It saves very well in your refrigerator for 2 weeks.
Serves 4
Healthy Cooking Tips: Make sure your lettuce is well dried so you don’t dilute the dressing. This salad dressing is great if you want a healthy Caesar dressing with anchovies. If you don’t like anchovies I would not bother making it, as it isn’t nearly as good without them.

If you need a quick, easy, healthy and tasty salat dressing try this:
Mix 2 tablespoons of fat free sour cream with your favorite BBQ sauce (2 tablespoons), add a little skim milk to get desired consistancy. ............It's awesome!!!
Without the milk try it on your sandwich instead of mayo:big_smile:
