wide grip - more lat involvement narrow more rhombus/traps involvement - though both will work all, just different angle and emphasis. it is good to hit a muscle at as mnay angles as you can.
Palm in/Palm out - ssame basic idea, different angles.. I think palms in you recruit more biceps and maybe less emphasis on back, at least I find palms I can feel the back more. palms in can be uncomfortable on your elbows.
Pull to chest - safer if you have shoulder joint issues - less risk of impingement. Maybe a little less range of motion.
Pull to back of neck - a little more direct and maybe more rear delt involvement, but again, if you have any shoulder issues - risk of impuingement/rotator cuff irritation.
I probably haven't hit all of the points/differences, so perhaps someone else will add in their 2 cents?
