My current supplement is through Six Star and 1 serving(1scoop) says is 56g. I take 1 pre and one post workout. Is this a normal amount or do I need to modify the intake. what is the maximum amount you can take during a loading stage.

I may be wrong but I assume that 56 grams is a typo. It is isn't it? :)

56 g is definately a typo:laugh::laugh:.......do a search on this, but i've always heard that your body cannot absorb much more than 5 g at a time, so the serving size on your jug should be about perfect for you

It varies but most folks I know take around 5 grams a day after an initial loading phase where you'd take around 20 grams spread out over the day. There is some good info that will come up in a search and also browse through the supplement forum as there's literally thousands of posts on creatine.
