Overweight lots of health probs. HELP!

hey, i just signed up today, and i really dont know where to start.....last year my resolution was to start doing exercise of some sort for at least 30 minutes a day, at least 3 days a week.....i would walk almost 3 miles 5 days a week to get home from work, but i would walk very slowly. last november, i quit smoking, and that helps a lot, over the past 2 years, ive changed my eating habits drasticaly, i drink plenty of water, no junk food or soda unless i eat out. this year my resolution was to loose at least 3 lbs a month.....problem is, i just gain weight, im not loosing anything. i walk like 5 miles almost every day.....what am i doing wrong??????????

Sounds like you are heading in the right direction...but you must tweek a few things...what does a typical day look like for you as far as eating goes....Are you doing any resistance training?

I said the same and quit smoking thought I was eating better and watching what I ate but I guess I didnt I gained 30 pounds since quitting smoking I am also new and need to lose I am getting sick from the weight and feeling it now also....

What kind of foods are you eating, How many times a week do you go out to eat, and when you do what is it. Also drinking alot of water, and by that i usually drink about a gallon a day. There are alot of great topics on the message boards here. And welcome to the site.
