How long should a leaning phase take starting at 16% and wanting to decrease to the range of 6-8%? I weigh 170 lbs and while I have a decent build, my abs have always been hidden.
Also, there are many threads suggesting an ansence of cardio during a leaning phase (and believe me, I am okay with this). I want to know what has worked for someone in this scenario in terms of diet. In other words, should I keep my caloric intake below 1500 cals/day? What should be my staples?
To get to 6% I would suggest and I do to all competitive folks I know(that is darn near competition levels of bodyfat) to give yourself 16 weeks first time out.
