I just got back from a weekend in Phoenix visiting some friends. We went out some...and I did more drinking than I had wanted to. Their eating habits are very different from mine....and since I was visiting THEM...I basically had to do with whatever food was available to me. I feel like I just accumulated five pounds of flab around my middle (I was working really hard on my abs) and just, overall, feel terrible...like I had been working so hard...and I ruined it. Is it possible for me to really have regressed...and gained fat...or is it just all in my head??

Feelings very guilty....
Thanks!

well of course it is possible, but just jump back on track...a weekend of bad eating is not going to have a drastic effect on you. Just as one week of health eating one turn your life around. Just shake it off and try to avoid that in the future. On cheat meal every now and then is not gonna to kill you. I feel like it will when do it, but i think it helps you keep you priorites in line.
good luck

I think you'll survive it. Just like one person stated on here one time, when your out with friends they would understand if you were a vegitarian, just tell them you are a proteinian???? (something like that). I live in the Phoenix area, one walk outside and it will burn your skin, calories, eyes, etc. etc. Get back on the saddle and go for it again...all is not lost!

Instead of looking at your weekend of eating in a negative way look at it as a reminder of what you don't want to do. Use this as your motivation...it works really well. As far as putting on the weight over the weekend...of course you can but not much..get back on track girl and you will be just fine!! Good luck and believe in yourself..you can do it!
