From what I've read and from looking at your diet, your metabolism is probably at a dead stop. Take some time and read thru "diet thread" in this forum. I know I refer people to it quite a bit, but it is a very good read for the beginner. Take your time and read it thoroughly. Then start eating from the "grocery list for healthy eating", also in this forum, first two threads. This should get you on your way. Good luck!

"and i do feel full after meals..hehe.."
Just a thought.... If you eat overly large meals and still keeping your intake to a deficit that can be a problem. A lot of people look at their total caloric intake and think it's ok but I know many people that eat their total intake in 2 meals and even if they are in what should be a calory deficit, they won't lose weight.

hi mike, but i know i don't eat excessively large meals, just enough to not feel hungry..

mojo..u said i eat too little...but i really don't know how to incorporate more healthy meals into my diet..everyone around here (singapore) seems to eat like this..is it possible to put up some sort of a sample plan of meals for a day? it'll be greatly appreciated..especially since i stll have only a vague idea of what bb1fit said in his diet thread..also, since he suggests low carbs, is rice ok? since it's the staple around here..and one last question..if my metabolism is currently low, if i start eating smaller, more frequent meals, will it not make me fat since i'm taking in more than previously???

thanks..any input is welcome:)

Illuzion, eating 4 or 5 smaller meals a day will actually speed up your metabolism and help to burn more calories. Remember, rice is fine in moderation, try to ge most of your daily carb intake from vegetables, oats, and beans etc. Take in plenty of lean protein and a moderate amount of healthy fats with each meal.
If you take your time and go thru bb1's thread again it will begin to make more sense. It's been proven to work. Good luck and keep us posted.
