Which does a women benefit from more? Or does it really matter? I just bought Soy and the guy at GNC said it was better for women, it is though? I am trying to loose body fat and gain muscle.

Whey is a better protein source....it's faster digested and more readily absorbed by the body. Whey is the new gold standard(used to be eggs) in protein ....soy is way down the list....

Yea, what is it with the people at GNC and pushing soy? They were handing out samples of "protein pudding" a couple weeks ago, and I mentioned to my lifting partner that it contained soy. The guy is like "Soy is the best protein you can get". I just laughed and walked away. I don't know whether I hope he is pushing his product or whether he actually believes it.

FYI, consuming soy with a thyroid condition will inhibit the thyroid meds you are on from working correctly. Best to stay with the whey for that reason as well.

Soy is plentiful and very cheap to make/produce. Huge profit margins, and all this relates back to the dollar. Follow the money trail on these studies.
