I'm a new member to FT and I've been experimenting with the site for a couple of days now. I'm trying to gain mass (about 20-30 lbs) which I know is a lot, however I must admit I'm a little skeptical about the workout routine. Im 6'1" and 150lbs. I've been reading many posts on the message board and it seems that some of you have really good advice and tips. So I guess my questions are the following: (1) How many days a week should I work out and for how long each day? (2) What supplements in combination with my workout should I be taking (and at what point during the day)? (3) How many meals a day should I be eating and what exactly should I eat? I appreciate any advice you may have. Thanks...:dumbbell:

If you are a new-comer to weight training, I would suggest training 3x per week. It is not how long a session that counts, but the quality of the exercise and what muscle groups you choose to train, and if there is any cardio that day. I strongly recomend a program from here. Do consume a good quality multi vitamin, and some extra c for now. Eat 5-6 times a day not necessarily ALL MEALS, some of the times would be snacks. Rely on Protein, Good carbs, and healthy fats. There is a food list in another forum called Specific diets and recipes. Have a look there for good quality foods.

Good Luck and welcome to free trainers
