erin4ever1990 Posts: 266 Joined: 2001/06/25	2001/08/10, 09:42 AM Slim-fast is 40g carbs, 10g protein. I don't think it is good for a protein sup. But I do add it to my protein to give me more carbs and flavor.

If you read the label, the carbs are almost completely from sugar and I dont think it even lists the source of protein. I would never recommend this to anyone serious about making gains.

coolness Posts: 338 Joined: 2001/05/23	2001/08/20, 08:30 PM I received my protein supplement and I bought a LARGE can of Slim-Fast at Sam's real cheap. I will use both and still eat as much protein as I can. Having a hard time putting on weight. Summers here in VA are so hot I sweat the calories off. Guess I'll have to "wait" until cooler weather to really put on weight. The Slim-Fast does taste good too. Bon Appetit!! coolness...
