I've heard this complaint before. Yes, water is necessary no matter what goals you have. I drink about 1 and a half gallons a day (on average) - sometimes more, sometimes less. You could try something like flavored water (Propel, etc) if you prefer that, but it could get expensive. What do you usually drink if you're not drinking water?

Mattphi,
All of your body's chemical reaction happen in water. The process of breaking-down fat is called 'hydrolysis' - the prefix hydro meaning water. Water is not the only thing you need to burn fat. A solid diet and workout routine are crucial.

I hate water too,so I add some splenda and fresh lemon to it and voila..lemonade..it makes it easier to gag down...or how about some crystal light in the water?
According to my profile Iam suppose to drink 103 ounces per day..umm ok but there is no way I can do that..I listen to my dr..as long as my urine is light or clear, than iam taking in enough fluids
