Do you guys keep track of every diet soda and carbonated water you drink? Just wondering... today is the first day I am tracking my intake and I want to start off right. I am a single father and my plan is to use the Stoffer's Lean Quizine meals a lot. Is that okay?

It's a very good idea to know excactly what you are eating (and how many prots, carbs or fat) but I agree with you that it's not always that easy. You have to be careful with sugar. Diet soda, doesn't have much I know, but if you drink ten daily then you'll still have some extra calories from that.
Sorry, I don't know the Stoffer meals. I guess we don't have it in Europe....

Nina (Philia2) is right...it's not easy to know exactly what you are consuming all the time. The Stouffer meals are okay...but don't eat it everyday. Instead, go out and buy some pre-made salads, and cans of tuna and chicken (use fat-free dressing for taste). You can have this for lunch and/or dinner. During my diet, I also ate a lot of chinese wonton soup (with vegetables and chicken). You'll be constantly hungry for the next 2 - 3 weeks...but soon thereafter, your body will get used to the lower food intake and your clothes will begin to feel loose on you!

I really appreciate the advise rpacheco! I have been doing the Stoffer's meals for the last two days and can't seem to get up to the goal on cal/protein/fat that my ft nutrition prog suggests. The strange thing is I am not hungry or craving anything at all. I'm not used to eating more than twice a day so this new thing of 4 to 5 times a day is a challenge. I have been taking Men's One-A-Day vitamins and also something called Metabolite. If you or anyone else has any more meal suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I am in for the long haul and ready to work.
