My name is Jody, but everyone calls me Blam. I am a web developer and have just recently started out on my own. My work can be located at http://www.squaredotstudios.com I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana and have for about the past 10 years. My hometown Cameron, Louisiana Was destroyed by hurricane Rita of last year.

Anywho, I am also a BIG guy. I got tired of being fat so last month I started a diet program at a place here in Baton Rouge called the Aspen Clinic. It is going very well & in the first month, I have lost 20 pounds!! I have a ways to go, but it is a very good start. I am on a diet where I am not supposed to consume more than 2500 cals & 50 grams of fat. Although I usually hit about 1500 cal & 15 or so fat. I have never been one to over eat, I just ate way too much fast food & didn't move around much. So I started walking when I started the diet & I am about up to 3 miles a night now. I walk 7 days a week. I recently bought a free weight system for the house & I am looking for a good routine to get into. I want to burn more calories, not get pumped up :) I bought the IMPEX CAGE SYSTEM & a 300 pound olympic weight set. You can see the system here.

Anyway, I am trying to learn what is best for me. Should I be using the weights everynight? How much weights should I be using? How many reps should I be doing to burn fat.

There are so many questions that I do not have the answers to. So if anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Nice to meet you all.
