I'm not an unintelligent person but this whole exercise thing has me going crazy. I keep reading about HIIT and when to do cardio and I'm literally confused! I filled out my fitness plan and it has me weight training MWF with rest on TTHSaSu. So can I do cardio on two of those other days? Or do I do HIIT? Please help. I've read post after post and I'm still very confused.
Right now I'm working out 5 days a week either on the treadmill for 45 minutes or a taebo video for 45 minutes. Apparently this isn't what I'm supposed to be doing after reading other posts. SIGH. I have noticed some muscle gain though doing these routines.
Follow the program. And yes, if fat loss is your goal, by all means feel free to do cardio on your off days. I would however recommend one full day off.
