Here's what I had today:

Cereals, oats, regular and quick and instant, without fortified, dry, (oats) 1 cup
Low Carb Isopure, Chocolate, Whey Protein 0.5 serving
Milk, nonfat, fluid, with added vitamin A (fat free or skim) 8 fl oz
Vegetable juice cocktail, canned 1 cup
Carrots, baby, raw 15 medium
Cheese, cottage, nonfat, uncreamed, dry, large or small curd 1 cup
Egg, white, raw, fresh 1 1 large egg white
Egg, whole, raw, fresh 1 1 large
Peas, edible-podded, raw 1 1 cup, whole
Coffee, brewed, prepared with tap water 4 cup (8 fl oz)
Chili with beans, canned 2 cup

I thought this seemed like a pretty healthy day. Boy was I wrong....only 1400 calories?? I need 2600, and that's to lose weight. When I figured this up I had to mix up an emergency 1.5 serving of protein shake to add an extra 500 calories and 75g of protein. heh

What am I doing wrong? Got any suggestions? I have been pretty much stuffed eating all this stuff throughout the day! Thanks!

1.add a protein to you breakfast, have the eggs here
2.drink the whole serving of whey, add tsp peanut butter to you shake or have 10-20 almonds
3.when you had the eggs later in the day replace that with a chicken breast and some veggies.
4. add 3 oz lean meat too the chili (turkey is good, ground)
5. if you are full don't get too overly concerned about the calories for now just learn too eat good quality food!

What I did was just play around for a few days to get the right balance of fats/carbs/proteins/calories. I thought that I was eating good to begin with as well and I was wrong, but by paying attention to what you eat will make you conscious and help you along. It took me about a week to get my combination right and you don't have to be totally on the number as long as you stay within a good percentage difference. Let us know how you progress with your diet.

Ok, I'll post in a week or so and let ya know. No offense or anything, but i kind of found the FT nutritional thing kind of hard to use. I found this one: www.nutrawatch.com and that's what I used yesterday. I'm going to use it this week to tune what I eat throughout the day until I get things right, then I won't be so anal about it. lol

Glad u liked it. I've gotten lazy with it. Need to start using it again. It does help.
