YUMMY! Handful of Frozen stawberries, 16oz of skim milk, 3 scoops of protein drink (1.5 servings). Mix in blender until smooth, very fruity, sweet, and thick, tastes like I shouldn't be drinking it.
Gonna try Peaches, then rassberries next. 8)

I like strawberries and bananas the best. The peaches gave it a texture I didn't like very much but everyone's different. I even cut up an apple and put it in once...yuck!

Actually, if you use applesauce and ice, instead of an apple, then add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg, with a vanilla shake, it comes out "Apple Pie a la mode" flavored :)

These drinks sounds very good. What flavor of protein do you use (all vanilla). I just drink a regular shake, I haven't added any fruits to them, but I think that I may. Also do you add milf or water?

I use milk or orange juice. I also use both chocolate and vanilla. I've only used vanilla with fruit tho. I tried a handful of frozen rasberries today. That was really good but I don't like the seeds. 8( I know, I'm picky.
I'm wondering now what a chocolate-rasberry shake would taste like. hrmmm.

I use one cup of skim and one cup of water. I also have only tried the fruit in the vanilla. When I tried the strawberries in the berry flavored protein mix it was an overload on my taste buds. Good idea with the applesauce alorle, I can't believe I never thought of it before.

Lisa, always use milk in your protein shake just after work out (better and faster body absorbtion). In the other shakes you can use milk or half milk/half water.
I even use soy milk for my shakes.......

Wow, I have been using water in my shakes for the past 6 weeks. I like the results that I am seeing but will switch over to milk and see if I can see the difference. Thanks for the advice.

No wait, what did I say?!!!!!! Always use WATER in your protein shake just after work out!!!!! The milk you should use in your "before bed" protein shake to slower down the protein absorbtion during the night.
I'm so sorry. I thought of water and then wrote milk (now what can Sigmund Freud get out of this one?!!! lol)

Nina,
How does Orange juice absorb after a workout? I like to use it.

What are you trying to, bulk or cut?!!!
If bulking then it's okey with orange juice just after training (lots of sugar) If you are cutting (wanting to loose fat) then you should avoid everything with too much sugar.

If you mix your shake with milk, you should not add anything else to it (like fruit). The milk adds up to a carb portion in your shake and makes it balanced (it also adds a good bit of protein). If you mix it with water, you can add fruit to even out the carb/protein ratio.
