Hi there. Im 28 years old, and ready for a change. I got a scare 2 weeks ago from my Doctor, and I knew it was time for me to change. I was drinking up to a case of 12 pepsi in 2 days, never thought I would go a day without Pepsi, but i havent touched it since. Im packing on a extreem amount of weight, and my whole body is sore. I know just changing your diet makes a huge difference, but what I am having problems with, is finding thr right exersize to help me get started. Ive tried walking, and my feet, and ankles, and my knees absolutly kill me. Does anyone have any advice on where to start? My self esteem is pretty shot, so I would prefer something I can do in my own home for right now. Im very proud that im wanting this change, just a bit sad that I left myself go for this long. ty for letting me post.

Welcoma Shauna - There are workout routines located in the resources at the top of the page. Another way to go about it is to join a gym if you are financially able. People that are serious don't go to a gym to watch other people and I for one couldn't tell you who was there when I go. If nothing else, the fact that you put some money on the table might be a little extra motivation to stick with it.

My wife recently suffered a knee injury from running. The doctor suggested to her to try the stationary bike. If you are looking to reduce stress on your knees and ankles, bike riding is a low-no impact exercise that will get the job done.

Thanks for the warm welcome, today I checked out a few diff options to start my work out. I have decided to start Water Aerobics. I dont think anything costs too much when it comes to me living. I really enjoy the site. Thanks for all the ideas
